The Client: Our client, a major global player in the music industry, launched a new content studio under the leadership of a newly appointed CEO. The studio has been established to distribute its existing catalogue of performance content, acquire new catalogues, and develop and produce original television, film, audio, digital, and live performance content for global audiences.
The Challenge: Having initially appointed another search company without success, THRIVE was engaged by the CEO to fulfil a raft of critical hires across all divisions, including Live Streaming Creative Director, SVP Content Acquisition, Production Executive, two unscripted development leads, and a Content Sales Director. We were also charged with helping the SVP Digital to build his team from scratch.
Our Approach: As well as the required skills and experience, each candidate would need a genuine knowledge of the music industry, and an entrepreneurial start-up mentality. We launched a proactive campaign across our networks and took a deep dive into each market. We researched each role to uncover the unobvious candidates, to fulfil the requirement of diverse experience and hybrid skill set, with the necessary energy to grow a business from scratch. With this client, we were able to demonstrate our dexterity and far reaching networks.
