Building a Convergent Content Studio from the Ground Up
The Client: Our client, former Chief Executive of a UK broadcaster, was setting up a convergent content studio with the vision of building an agency that integrates strategy, content production, data insights, and digital and social capabilities. The studio was set up to develop, produce and distribute high quality content to reach audiences through new channels as audience habits are radically changing.
The Challenge: THRIVE was engaged pre-launch to identify the Founding Partner/Chief Creative Officer to head up the television production studio. We understood the scale of the ambition and the need to secure enviable creative leadership with access to top level buyers with a strong track record for creating formatted documentaries and factual content.

Our brief was to present a carefully curated shortlist of the highest calibre talent for us to approach on behalf of the client. Thrive set up discrete meetings, managed the selection process and handled the negotiation of terms on behalf of the client.
The Result: Following the appointment of the Founding Partner/ Chief Creative Officer, THRIVE managed the hire of the Head of Development and other senior roles in the business as it grew including Head of Factual, Head of Development, Production Executive. The studio has gone on to win multiple awards.
